Uncovering the Motives, Mysteries, and Missing Pieces of the Epstein Case

Palm Beach, 1992 – Donald Trump stands beside Jeffrey Epstein at a private Mar-a-Lago party, grinning as they watch a parade of 28 young women. The only other guests that night are the “28 girls” Trump invited for Epstein and himself 1 . Our review of flight manifests, photographs, and court records reveals that this was just one intersection in a years-long social relationship. Trump and Epstein traveled in the same elite circles of Manhattan and Palm Beach throughout the 1990s. Trump’s name appears in Epstein’s flight logs at least seven times 2 – including an October 1993 flight (with Epstein and possibly Ghislaine Maxwell aboard) and a May 1994 trip where Trump flew with his then-wife Marla Maples and their infant daughter on Epstein’s private jet 3 . Handwritten records later show Trump took another Epstein plane ride in January 1997 from Palm Beach to New Jersey, accompanied by Epstein, Maxwell, Epstein’s brother, and others 4 . There is even evidence Epstein flew on Trump’s own plane on occasion , underscoring how routine their interactions once were.

Photos from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club capture the two men laughing together in 1997 and 2000 . In Epstein’s leaked address book (later obtained by investigators), 14 phone numbers were listed for Trump, his wife Melania, and Trump’s staff – a testament to how closely entwined their social lives had been. By Epstein’s account, Trump was a “good friend” , and Trump himself once boasted in 2002, “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy… He likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side” . But as Epstein’s behavior in Palm Beach drew police scrutiny in the mid-2000s, their friendship abruptly cooled.
